Comparison of Skoda Superb and Honda Accord

Skoda Superb and Honda Accord are one of unlikely rivals of executive class sedan segment. And the Jasoos of our CarKhbari team are clever enough with their minds to have rational findings over assortments of quality performance – affordability, comforts, power-train and off-course, how could we forget one of the most burning affairs of fuel economy.

This is the fact that in present scenario, to win over the race and avail the opportunities of winning position, everyone is laboring to be in the shoes of champion. Genuinely, have to be so because in this fast pacing world it’s quit tough to hold desires with all grace and effective approach. And if anyone is not laboring up to determined extent than he went on the wrong way and had to backtrack till he got to the right turning. So, lets begin to have fair deals to your desires with genuine comparison.

For one, the petrol version of Skoda Superb comes with two engine options i.e. 3.6 liter which shares its functionality with V6 and FSI technology and makes it active enough to deliver the power of 191 kW with 2500 Nm of torque. It renders the mileage of 11.2 km/l as best one. Another is 1.8 liter which is enjoying the support of TSI technology for generation of 118 kW of power and 1500 NM of torque. 14 km/l is the mileage which is been rendering by it on highways.

On the other hand, Honda Accord is standing against it also with two petrol engine options. First one is 3.5 liter with 24 Valve, SOHC, i-VTEC technology to deliver its best power of 275 PS at the torque of 339 NM. It delivers the mileage of 9 km/l at its best extent. And the second one is 2.4 liter with 16 Valve, DOHC, i-VTEC technology. This can deliver the power of 180 PS with 222 NM of torque. It’s having 11.5 km/l of average on highways that is its best.

IF we compare the performances of both of their petrol versions then we get concluded that Skoda Superb performance very well over roads because both of its engine options produces good power but with less Rpm (Revolutions per minute) as compared to Accord. Apart from that, Superb is also entertaining its users with diesel mechanism which carries the capacity of 2.0 liter with TDI CR technology.

Price Sphere

At present, the petrol versions of Skoda Superb is being tied within the sphere of Rs 18,47,306 to Rs 26,67,554 and its Superb Diesel comes with the price tag of Rs 26,67,554. Whereas, in the comparison, Honda Accord is having the price bracket of Rs. 19,60,500 to Rs.26,96,721 that is quite competitive to Superb.

End of the line

Skoda Superb is worthy opponent with all essential goodies.
