The new Mahindra XUV 500 is being offered only in diesel model same as popular SUV Mahindra Scorpio. The new beast has a 2.2 Litre mHawk diesel engine under the hood that belts out a maximum power of 86.7 kw and churns out peak torque of 290. The mill is mated with a 5 speed manual gearbox while the auto giant may offer an automatic transmission version as top-end to win the heart of the customers. Till now the company has not disclosed the Mahindra XUV 500 mileage but it is expected impressive. So, this new Mahindra SUV model is expected value for money and the company may start bookings for it any time.
